Sound Recording and Watchmaking Lubrication

Both accurate clock mechanisms and accurate mechanisms of audio recording require high-quality precision (accurate) lubricant.

Having conducted the experimental studies (comparative compilations — records with various lubricants for reading and recording mechanisms), the best result was obtained using the oil to used by Swiss watch manufacturers (Breguet, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, Girard Perregaux, Blancpain, Vacheron Constantin , Rolex …).
As a result of an old lubricant removing, mechanisms flushing and application of new precision watch lubrication result – an output of audio recording is much better.
PolyDan Sound Laboratory uses Synthetic oil for watches and precision mechanics (H.Moebius & Fils (Synt-A-Lube) Swiss Made) for lubrication of its reading and recording mechanisms.
